    Are you an experienced administrator looking for an exciting part time opportunity?

    Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a Property Support Officer to join the Property Services team based in Emerald.

    In this role, you will utilise you’re existing administration skills to assist with drafting tenancy documents, conduct basic financial and procurement activities, undertake routine inspection and provide general administration support the Property Services team.

    To be successful, you will need a strong administrative background, have a proactive approach to completing tasks and be able to build effective and positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within our community.

    Please note that this part time opportunity is required to work 20.3 hours per week. Start and finish times are negotiable however the days of work required are Tuesday to Friday each week.

This is a varied role and includes supporting and empowering with both in-field and office-based WHS activities across all council facilities and job sites in the Central Highlands Region.

    Duties include:

    • Attending and delivering toolbox meetings
    • Creating and updating procedures and documents
    • Conducting risk assessments, incident investigations & job safety observations
    • Identifying and communicating safety learnings
    • Providing coaching of health and safety procedures to staff and management
