For the 2020 local government elections, you are voting in person. This is different from previous local government elections.
Election day is Saturday, 28 March 2020. You will find your nearest polling booth, early voting centre and election day information at ecq.qld.gov.au or call 1300 881 665.
All postal votes must be completed before the end of voting at 6.00 pm on Saturday, 28 March and returned to the ECQ by 5.00 pm Tuesday, 7 April.
You will complete one ballot paper to elect councillors.
Voting for your councillors
For councillors, you are using first-past-the-post voting. This means you must number the boxes for the number of councillors to be elected. For example: if you have five councillors to be elected, you must number five boxes.
