Youth Fest is back for 2024 with a killer lineup of live music, food trucks, entertainment and more!
This dynamic and free event is designed specifically for youth aged between 12 to 18 years old, and will take place on Saturday 14 September at the May Day Grounds in Blackwater.
Headlining the festival will be 2024 Australian Idol finalists Denvah and Trent Richardson, supported by talented local artists and a range of fun activities from mechanical bull rides to dodgems and even camels.
Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Janice Moriarty encouraged the community to get behind this great event.
‘Events like Youth Fest highlight the importance of community and the positive impact we can have when we work together,’ she said.
‘I’m excited to acknowledge our young people, they deserve to have a day to be celebrated for helping our region thrive.’
Youth Fest is a drug and alcohol-free event, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our youth.
Event Highlights:
Live music: Featuring lead artists and 2024 Australian Idol finalists Denvah and Trent Richardson, along with performances by local artists.
Entertainment and rides: Enjoy camel rides, dodgem cars, sizzler, drop zone and more.
Food: A variety of food options will be available.
Transport: Free buses will be available across the Central Highlands to ensure everyone can join the fun. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite.
