Family Drug Support

Family Drug Support is a caring, non-religious organisation which provides non-judgmental, non-directive support and information to families and friends of drug users across Australia.

Types of service provision:
Support Group Meetings-open meetings for family members impacted by someone’s drug/alcohol use. Open to anyone and providing opportunities to talk and listen to others in a non-judgemental, safe environment.
Bereavement Support-supporting families of those lost to drugs or alcohol.
Stepping Stones- is a structured, interactive and experiential course that brings people together with similar challenges.
Stepping Forward- education and interactive sessions for families and friends and workers, providing information and support relating to alcohol and other drug use.

24/7 Telephone Support – 1300 368 186

One on One/Face to Face Support-another support option for those families who may require additional support or who may have a barrier to accessing other FDS services.

Rockhampton Support Group Meeting - 2nd Tuesday of every month
Rockhampton Business Centre – 110 Campbell Street Rockhampton from 6.pm till 8. pm.

Gladstone Support Group Meeting - 2nd Thursday of every month
Gladstone Library, 39 Goondoon Street, Gladstone 4680 from 5.30 pm till 7.30 pm.
