Applications are now open for round 2 of community grants for 2023 across the region.
This grant program supports clubs and not-for-profit organisations operating in the region with funding opportunities across three categories.
- Community Assistance – up to $5,000
- Sport and Recreation – up to $5,000
- Community Improvement – up to $20,000
‘We look forward to clubs taking advantage of this grant and adding value to their members and community,’ Mayor Kerry Hayes said.
In round one of 2023, the program supported 26 projects ranging from clubhouse airconditioning, hot water systems and portable seating to strategic planning and live streaming capabilities.
‘We have seen so many improvements that support community groups and clubs across the region thanks to this grant. It will be great to see what ideas will be brought to council this time around,’ Mayor Hayes concluded.
Applications are open via Smartygrants until 5.00 pm 31 August 2023.
