UPDATED 1.00 pm
Water production is now restored at the Duaringa water treatment plant however a boil water notice has been put in place.
The boil notice is due to low levels both in the network and the reservoirs leading to discolouration in the town’s water supply.
All water used for consumption should be boiled until further notice.
A water outage is affecting Duaringa due to unplanned issues occurring overnight.
Trucks delivering water supply to the town are on route and will be up and running by 8.00 am.
Once the supply is connected you may experience slight water discolouration; if you do, please run the water for a short period of time. If this persists, please contact council on 1300 242 686.
Council crews are working to reinstate the town’s normal water access as a priority.
