Monitoring the progress of a development application has never been easier, with a new online tool launched by the Central Highlands Regional Council this week.
As the name suggests, TRACK enables applicants to monitor the progress of their application from lodgement through to determination.
‘At any given time, our development and planning team can be assessing over 50 applications,’ General Manager Communities Daniel Fletcher said.
‘This new service not only means improved access to information for the applicant, it will also reduce administrative overhead for our planning department and consequently result in better utilisation of our resources.’
Mr Fletcher said the tool provided a summary of the key milestones the application has gone through.
He said information available includes:
- Application type
- Status
- Name of applicant
- Date lodged
- Location
- Assessing officer
- If application has been decided
- Work history
- Relevant documents
TRACK can be accessed through the homepage of council’s website or by heading to https://track.chrc.qld.gov.au
To search for an application, you will either need your application reference number or the street address. Only new applications lodged from 3 July 2017 onwards are available through this system.
If you are unable to find your application or require further information call council on 1300 242 686.
