Central Highlands Regional Council will be carrying out roadworks on Opal Street and the adjacent entrance to the Emerald Botanic Gardens beside McIndoe Park.
Works are planned to start on 8 June 2020 and continue through to 14 July 2020.
Motorists and pedestrians can expect changed traffic conditions and the bitumen car park access to the botanic gardens will remain closed.
During times of closure, botanic gardens visitors may use alternative car parks at the John Gay Bridge entrance, the Vince Lester Bridge or at McIndoe Park.
The works will include widening of Opal Street and construction of two slip lanes allowing vehicle access to the car park from both directions.
