Council, along with several local organisations and businesses, will be celebrating Queensland Youth Week 2023 and the school holidays with a ‘Youth Fest’ on Saturday 15 April 2023 from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm at the Emerald Skate Park.

‘This is going to be an absolutely wicked day of fun,’ said General Manager Communities John McDougall,
‘I know my kids are going to go wild when they hear about it,’ he continued.
‘Youth are such important members of our community and they really deserve to have a day to be celebrated for helping our region thrive.’
Free buses to transport youth to and from the event will be provided in:
- Duaringa, Dingo, Bluff, Blackwater and Comet
- Tieri, Capella
