The event assistance program supports individuals, groups, clubs and organisations seeking sponsorship or in-kind support for their events. The event must provide a community benefit and an opportunity for people in the region to gather, celebrate and participate. Applicants can apply for up to $10,000 of combined cash and in-kind funding.

If the date of the event is between 1 July and 30 September 2023, an application must be submitted during the Interim Round.
If the date of the event is between Sunday 1 October 2023 and Sunday 31 December 2023, an application must be submitted during Round 1.
If the date of the event is between Monday 1 January 2024 and Sunday 31 March 2024, an application must be submitted during Round 1 or Round 2.
If the date of the event is between Monday 1 April 2024 and Sunday 30 June 2024, an application must be submitted during Round 1, 2 or 3.
If the date of the event is between Monday 1 July 2024 and Monday 30 September 2024, an application must be submitted during Round 1, 2, 3 or 4.
