The Electoral Commission Queensland (ECQ) is responsible for conducting local government elections across Queensland.
- Register for a postal vote until 7 pm March 4 here.
- Early voting is open from 4 March until 15 March, locations can be found here.
- Elections for Council of the Central Highlands Regional Council will be held on 16 March 2024. Polling booth locations can be found here.
Central Highlands Regional Council councillors are elected for a four-year term. The elected members consist of Mayor and eight (8) councillors. Central Highlands Regional Council is an undivided council, which means it does not have any internal boundaries (such as divisions or wards).
