CHACAC is a 15-person committee formed by members of the public and council to encourage arts, cultural and heritage programs in the region. There are currently seven vacancies for community members on the committee.
Committee members have an impact on the development and implementation of council’s arts and cultural-related strategic documents and future direction. The committee supports arts cultural and heritage initiatives, and advocate on behalf of the arts, culture and heritage communities in the region.
New members would serve the remainder of the current term (until June 2024), with the option to apply for the next three-year term beginning in July 2024. Applications can be submitted at any time.
